The number one question asked when looking to invest in a silk pillowcase is "How do I wash my silk pillowcase?" or "Can I wash my silk pillowcase in the washing machine?"

Unlike silk clothing which is often manufactured using a light low momme silk fabric and requires dry - cleaning only, all of Silkque's arsenal are designed using a high grade silk fabric which means you are able to wash them in the washing machine. (Hallelujah - I hear you say).

Follow these simple steps to prolong the life of your silk products:

SILKQUE™ PILLOWCASES/ BEDSHEETS

All of our products are made with the highest grade mulberry silk. You can wash them in the washing machine.

We recommend washing your silk products on a cold or warm, gentle machine cycle. Silk cannot handle harsh laundry powder or chemicals such as bleach. Handy Tip: Use shampoo or a silk friendly liquid to wash your silk. They are dry cleanable and you may also iron or steam on low heat!
